I'm quite excited about getting old.

We’re not getting any younger.

It is just now that the fact that my parents are already grandparents got into me. Ang bilis ng panahon! Parang kailan lang, ako ang bunso. But now, may bago ng center of attention. (Pardon my self centeredness. Haha!) Then some of my friends are already graduating. Parang kahapon lang, high school pa lang ako and college pa sila. I had this encounter a while ago with dean and some recent board exam passers, mga Thomasian engineers. I did not intend to eavesdrop naman. It’s just that we were all in the dean’s office. And while listening to them, I noticed na ang mature nila pakinggan. Parang ang seryoso nila sa buhay. Alam mo yung ramdam mo na may goal sila. With all these people na nakakasalamuha ko, I think I should be more serious with my life na. I mean we’re not getting any younger. And if I want to have a good life, yung buhay na mag-eenjoy ako, well I think I better set my priorities and do things for my future.
